Our method
Leading the way in concussion education.
We translate the latest concussion research and best practices into clear, easy to digest, information using insights from psychology and learning sciences.
Effective education hinges on how we teach, not just what. Our unique services prioritise learners, tailoring experiences to their individual resources, motivations, and existing knowledge.
Origin
Motorsport learnings
A decade ago, our Founder tackled a significant challenge: creating the first concussion education program for Motorsport UK drivers as part of her doctoral research - a high-risk sport with arguably a high tolerance for risk. This spawned a passion for raising the bar when it came to concussion education - designing programmes that led to improved knowledge and practice, and weren’t just a one-off event or box-ticking exercise.
Leadership
Shaping future policies
At ConcussED, we are proud to serve on multiple advisory committees dedicated to shaping the future of concussion policy in sports. Our roles span from Co-Chairing the Scottish Concussion Advisory Group to collaborating with national sports bodies and educational institutions.
Empowering individuals
A safer environment
Our ethos includes the belief that “we all have a role to play” and that knowledge is the foundation for prevention, early detection, and effective management of concussions. By making complex science accessible and actionable, we foster safer environments in sports, schools, and beyond.

“
A voice of clarity and reassurance, her depth of knowledge and her ability to communicate that knowledge with warmth, calm and precision was invaluable. She guided us through the fog of conflicting advice and uncertainty, offering compassionate support and a sense of hope. Thanks to the right support and time, our son made a full recovery. Stephanie played a vital role in helping us to reach that outcome through her education. Her work is vital and her presence in the field is a gift.” - Sheena Skinner
